provided you change the piston rings ever 40-50 hours of riding and keep the air filter clean, plus keep changin the gear box oil as often as possible, then to be honest they arent that bad for re-builds. They are just high maitenance!!

its not going to be the same after a few thousand miles but will still have a nice kick to it when the powerbands cut in

mis-treat them and they will quickly deteriorate

Oh well OJC, do I care - its a bike and at the end of the day on my limited budget, it was the best I could afford.

can i be cheeky enough to ask what you actually paid for it, what year, miles etc?

with a seized engine i should imagine it was fairly cheap, and if your dad can re-store the engine then you cant of got too bad a deal on it

exactly - I don't have £2000, I don't even have £1000! I don't even have £500

Trust me it was pretty damn cheap! mileage isn't bad, 7000 miles which is high for a bike, but not too high.

A 1.2 8v Corsa manages 44bhp and a 125 bike 31? makes it sound even worse then
