I thought the older 1.8 16v as found in the mk3 Astra Sport and such like, was 125bhp, and the X18XE (presumably called Z18XE in all new Vauxhalls) was 115bhp?

the 106 gti beat my audi a3 turbo ( 0-60 7.5) from the line. i was not best chuffed

but naturally top end i killed the gti.

gave one a race once back from my ex's them little things fly like feck

OF COURSE YOU CAN GET AN INDUCTION KIT AND EXHAUST BUT THIS WILL JUST MAKE NOISE PLUS A FEW BHP BUT MINIMAL POWER GAINS REALLY...ISN'T IT REALLY ANNOYING IN CAPS LOCK??

sorry, keyboard needs caps for work. didnt think it was a big deal
i wasnt trying to get power gains just make throttle more responsive, i got these bits on my sxi and helped a bit didnt know whether anyone had any experience.

what BHP is the 1.4 sri (corsa c)

I've got the 1.4 for insurance purposes

If i were you i'd get a 1.4, are you after one? Get one with the styling kit on it, makes them look so much better

1.8 engines have very good tuning potential.

DO you really need to ask whats better between a 1.4 and a 1.8?

ive got a 1.2 sxi so the 1.4 aint gonna be a whole lot different really
