My dad offers me a lift into work on one condition.
When I get home & have gone to bed in the morning, I wake up 2 hours later give my mum a lift to work then try t o go back to sleep when I get home.
Told him i'd walk to work.
There's a perfectly good bus stop at the end of the road ( 30 seconds away) & is a ten minute ride into town with a further 2 minute walk from the bus stop to the hospital where she works.
They just don't get the fact that once i'm awake I generally stay awake & I don't wanna be awake the rest of the day after two hours sleep.

tell me about it mate, my dads really against me getting a 2nd car as a run-around, to save racking up the miles on the corsa and so i can actually go places! cos the corsa is too low! grr.

its possible tho, i can go for weeks with only like 2-4hrs a night. fucks u up in the long run tho.

WHen u finish nights u do not want to sleep for 2 hrs then get up...Feck that.....

I'm the same I can't get back to sleep if I get up dressed etc....
