As the title says really, took me two bloody days solid! Good news is inlet charge temps have virtually halved and my boost can be wound up a bit more now!

Cant beleive the size of the old effort that was mounted in the wing!

Ill post some more pics and figures when it comes off the rollers after being mapped next Friday!

Nah, got the intercooler from Apex performance with a pipe kit. think they are custom made for them. Not bad for £500, I know the HKS and the Blitz look a bit nicer and have more shiny pipes but they are twice the price nad you have to relocate the battery (or use a tiny one)

Inlet temp runs at around 30 degrees, not really tested it yet though. With the old cooler it could get as high as 60 degrees.

This is what the Apex performance website says:
"Apex has been developing its own front mounted intercooler kit for the S14 over the past twelve months. We are now proud to say the cooler is ready for release. The core is a whopping 600mmx285mmx70mm. The cooler fits behind the bumper directly in the airflow for greatest cooling. One of these intercoolers is fitted to the Apex Performance Parts S14a which recently ran on Well Lane Turbos rolling road producing 311bhp at 15psi with standard engine, turbo and management. The charge air temperatures peaked at just 29 degrees centigrade. That is a fantastic result for a car running on an open road but to record those figures on a rolling road with its very poor air flow characterisitics is a superb result. We are, needless to say, very very pleased with the results. A suitable fitting kit is also available."

Shes running pretty sweet at the moment. Ive bought a little Escort 1.4 to use day to day and for work so the Nissan is just tucked up in the garage most of the time (usually in pieces). Its miles better though, cos with my old Corsa, it was used every day so had to be in one piece most of the time. This means I can do all the work on my Nissan myself which saves me a fortune.

With the set up at the moment when its set up next Friday Ill be looking at around 300bhp. Gonna see how that feels for the next couple of weeks by which time the new turbo, manifold, Power FC, 770 injectors and 1.8mm metal head gasket should be here to go on. Thats a little more than a couple of days work but Ive got 9 days off at the end of October so Ill do it then.

As it stands (looking for 300hp)
Blitz NUR spec R 3.25" Exhaust
Dano turbo elbow
3.25" downpipe
3.25" decat pipe
Blitz LM induction kit
440cc injectors
Apexi S-AFC fuel controller
Walbro Fuel pump
Front Mount Intercooler (600mmx285mmx70mm)
Cusco catch tank
Modified breather system
GReddy Profec e-01 Boost controller
16psi boost
Fuel cut defender
Bypass on standard boost solenoid
Bailey dump Valve

So all is well and hopefully by next Friday I should see 300 bhp!

Looking good mate. Did you have to modify the bumper at all or did it go straight in? 300bhp on the back wheels well be fun Is yours a manual or auto? cos i no the majority of em are auto.

got a GT 30 ball bearing turbo with the manifold, down pipe and external waste gate if your interested dude, its for an s14

What size wheels have you got on your 200???

Cos a mate of mine is looking to get some wheels for his soon. BUT not too sure what size to go for.

he has an S13

Its a manual which is nice, looked at loads, but like you say 75% autos!

Bumper needed trimming on the inside a little bit and I lost my fog, but nothing major! Well worth it!

Next little mod is an intercooler spray I think!

Wheels are 8x18 with 225/40/18 tyres. Not sure what you can get on an S13 though? Try www.sxoc.co.uk
