If you lot just asked me what I was planning rather then telling me what I should and shouldn't do with my car, You'd know that I've never ever wanted to put a 2.0L in my car hence why I turned down the engine Daimos got

Ian Storey - I have the power figures to prove that bhp and it was rolling road tested on the same rollers before too and I have them figures too. The reason why a 2.0L would beat me is because my torque is as shit as it was to start with. And bearing in mind my whole engine bay cost £800 not bad going I think esp as I was running low on the old funds at the time and I wanted to keep the GSi engine.

Steve - I wasn't racing OJC I just accelerated off the roundabout to keep up with Daimo. I didn't even think about what OJC was doing. He was the one that posted on here that he couldn't keep up and we said it must be knackered.

I love this site always too quick to critisise before knowing the facts.

Yes, Craig's Calibra Turbo was'nt running right as it was getting bore wash? I believe, and not allowing the turbo to run properly.

Donna floored it, I floored it. Donna did not get away, even when it was fcuked and probably running about 150bhp.

But I believe Donna's car is fairly fast, I would like to see her against Daimo on the strip, take off Donna's 18's and I don't reckon there would be fcuk all difference.

Donna - it's about time someone supercharged a 1.6...
Alternatively, you could get your pistons pockted (£85), up the compression ratio and drop in some very lumpy cams, all mapped with an Omex £350 ECU - should see you with 180bhp+

It may have been about for a few years, but still draws the crowds where ever it goes.

Its only the wankers that will complain that nothings changed. Most people like to see the car at shows, becuase, no matter how old it it, its still a cracking motor with a stunning interior!

Yes, it was overfueling causing it to not boost properly.

Now and again it would go like a rocket, but most of the time it was really slugish.

Its all sorted now, shame the owner cannot drive it properly.

Yes, he is a rectum. He brought a bleed valve for it, little did he know that the boost is controlled by the ECU.
