I've got a 16v sticker from Kindness im gona use and as for mirrror under my bonnet emmmmmmmmmmm NO . What you said Kindness sounds good

Red SFS Hoses.

Paint the oil cap, header tank cap red.

Or get a new stainless steel header tank, PAS tank, battery cover.

General tidy up of pipes/hoses etc. Try to hide em a bit more.

my old inlet manifold came up pukka after a good ging over with a wire brush, give that a go

Id say blue hoses and blue anodised bolts to match.

Brings back the memories of tarting D4/s engine up. have a look on my site for some ideas dude?

Theres a lot can be done. I love the pic, when i'd just got the hoses, it looks so clean and smart and tidy Never got another photo like these that made it look as good



I bought some engine heat resistant paint and put it on the caps, and inlet manifold. As u can see below, it made quite a difference!!!

However, my first attempt wasn't so good

I just painted my manifold. I used some left over hammeright that i had used on my brakes. Worked a treat and have had no probs!!




Am going to do the caps as well, when i get round to it!!

Love good engine pics get the chromed battery cover etc and that hammerite stuff has worked well

Yeah, i had mine done when it went into the bodyshop. Only was showed in Belguim though, then i sold it.

why not have a little dancer thats pops up, spins round and plays a funky jingle when u open the bonnet, like a jewelery box
