i often have problems with teh correct-connect software that i have to use that comes with it, more than problems with the actual connection. but some times it just wont connect. i normally have to restart correctconnect about 4 times before it will pick up the connection again

Me too, and considering upgrading to 1Mb shortly, and putting a router on instead of the PCI modem I'm currently using......so I can put a webserver on the connection.

It did cause massive problems, although mine didn't slow down all that much......only dropped 1-2k/sec on average.

With a 600kbps connection, you should be looking at roughly 75k/sec maximum download speed...
