I need one for when i go away in November but it has to be one that can be accessed from all over the world with easy access to funds/replacement cards etc.

Someone point me in the right direction pleeeeeeeease!!

HSBC seem to be ok m8........... u have a live statement so to speak and are able to make payments online

lloyds tsb, my dad uses it and needs my help and u can make payments, get a statement, paye other bank accounts etc etc

I use Halifax, always works a treat updates straight away when u take cash out etc

Ok - cheers so far - the only problem i have is im gonna be in Australia - if i lose my card i wanna know where i stand - im not gonna be in one place for more than 3 weeks so i dont know the procedure for getting a new card - if i dont have a card im knackered basically.

I dont want a credit card either - im already in Lloyds but am not sure how it works so im gonna find next week.

I use Royal Bank of Scotland and Halifax online banking both had no probs. I'd say I prefer the RBS online banking set up to the halifax one.
