On the lacquer point:
Base coat paints which is a metalic/pearl etc cannot be mixed with a lacquer.
The reason for this is that lacquer is a 2k product and requires activator to harden/cure. Wheras basecoat paint ie pearl is a 1k product and hardens/cures using thinners.
So if you put the 1k product into a 2k product, it would never harden properly???
get what i mean?
