What would make my car rattle a bit when it is idling?
Sounds like its exhaust and engine.....
But then I wouldnt know

Well it may well be the exhaust. Does the rattle come back at certain speeds/rpms as you drive? When you go over bumps?
If you give soe more info we may eb able to narrow it down.

Have you got an induction kit? If so, leave the engine idle, open the hood and check to see if the cone is vibrating up against any bodywork or engine mounts, etc
It might not be what's happening but it's what I experienced when I fitted mine.

Mine rattles and scrapes cos the clutch on the air con is fooked

Could be the exhaust heatshield? Fecking annoying. Happens on mine
