the tyres dont have to be the same size, otherwise porsche etc would fail as the rear rims are always an inch or so wider

tyres don't have to be the same size all round,but 2 different size tyres or rims can't go on the same axle front/rear,but u could run 195/45/15 on the front and 205/50/16 on the rear

so 215 on the front would be good then for more traction but still not sure whether 15 or 16

There would be no advantage of running wider rear tyres on a FWD car.
