yer im told the 1.8 16v aint a million miles away from a williams
exhaust, induction kit and chip should see it at the same level, if not slightly more

Agree with the CRX bit..
Go for the VTEC thou...
150bhp standard (Uk spec)
158 Jap import.
Get a Jap import Sir VTEC.
Will whip a 106 or clio valver.
Not bad on the insurance either..
Manifold, exhaust, CAI and unichip, you'll be knocking on the door of 180bhp - not bad for a 1.6
Revs to 8 and a bit k as well. The B16a is a legend. - most B series engines use parts that will fit one another. Hence you can drop in a B20block using the b16a head - 2.0 litre vtec. nice. ITR cams fit.
If you drive one, you'll buy it..
If not a CRX, Civic VTi.

Calibra insurance is a bummer, same as astra gsi, 1700 quid 
Wanted crx vtec again, honda insurance is bad

Mates getting a punto gt now, aint spoken to him 4 a while, and he was just about to part with 5k for a focus 
told him about this insurance co. he rang up, got a quote for £1400 on punto gt and is looking 4 one now, this site really is useful
JoJo thanks for ebay, but the 1.4 may be a little sluggish methinks

I dont agree with this the williams has got 150bhp and a lot more torque then the 16v. The F16 engines need to have the nuts revved of them to get them to go, the williams has a much more flexible engine and the greater torque makes a lot of difference. You`ll need more then a chip, filter and zorst to match its performance.

a clio valver is faster in a straight line than a vts!!
clio stats: 0-62 (100km/h): 7.7 secs, 0-100: 22 secs, 130mph top end
vts stats: 0-60: 7.7 secs, 0-100: 23 secs, 126mph top end
go for the valver mate, u could get a L/M reg low mileage one for £2.5k and theyre only grp 12

the clio 16v ans williams are the same to 60 (7.7 secs - see cliosport.net for figs) but the williams is faster later on due to having more bhp

Yes, see, someone who talks sense, it will be down to driver, but same driver doing both cars, clio valver will be quicker

i am gettin a valver, i drove one my cuz mite be buying n theyre mint, try n get one with leather, it makes all the difference, also try and get one with ABS (they were both optional) brakes are mint anyways liike

Yeah brakes are discs all round, alot i've seen have got upgraded discs and pads anyways, defo want one with leather tho
If I don't get one, might see if pug 106 gti leather would fit
