Smoking only increases ur chances of getting lung cancer its not the only cause.

Same as the contraceptive pill increases ur chances of getting breast cancer but its not the only cause

My dad was a smoker pre-30's but we spoke to a consultant after my dad died and he said that the smoking wasn't the cause of the cancer.

He wasn't a GP he was a consultant.

The GP told my dad he had bronchitus for 5months until he sent him for a chest scan, he died 2months later even tho they said he had 90% chance of recovery. When we spoke to the consultant he said that that was untrue and from when he first saw my dad he only 3months to live. But no one was ever told this. Shitty NHS

Only in the last week, he was in hospital that week, was meant to come home on the Monday but died on Saturday night. He actually died from Pneumonia but the cancer had spread all over his body and to his brain so he wasn't himself and there was physical signs to. We didn't think he was going to die, we weren't told about all this until about an hour before he died, even tho we'd asked every day what was wrong.

Well I have a younger brother (14) he was 13 at the time. He took it really hard, he wanted to be there. I had to be there for him and my mum. My dad asked me to look after them if he died, and I pretty much hold my whole family together now, so can't exactly full apart.
