ive looked behind my bumper and attached to the bar that goes down in front of rad there is a wire with a sensor on the end not connected to anythingthat cant be right????

what should it be connected to??

I think your refering to your temperature sensor. Thats the one that gives you the little display above your dash with the ambient air temperature. I could be wrong but mines got one to
