lol gettin mine sorted asap ive got a nove to smoke around in for time being off to get engine @ weekend all being well should be in in no time @ all will do it in a day

Yeah,. I tried replacing the switch at the gb with no effect. Can't see it coming loose behined the dash as its never been touched/taken out, so the cable must have broken somewhere?

Is my check light on? What the orange light? Nothing has appeared as faulty on the dash.

Are there any fuses conencted to the speedo in the fuse box?

it will be broken cable mate good luck replacing with that ebgine in

Theres actually more room in the engine bay with the 2.0litre. So id rather do it on this than the 1.4 16v

Yeah, the 1400cc fills the whole engine bay up really.

1.4 16v



2.0 litre 16v



Can reach most of teh gearbox. Hardly could reach it at all with the 1.4.

Cos u got all the circulation pump on one side, Where as on the new engine u can get rid of it all and all the brackets etc.

now i see it i remember that the ecotec induction system is huge
