I have a Corsa C 1.4 Sri and I was wondering if the cross-hatch grill between the foglights of the 1.8 version fits mine.
Does anyone have any pics or knows how much it costs to supply and fit.

5xi has done it too, i fitted it for him ( my bro) goes in fine, just a straight swoop really.

U2u me if you n e probs.

i found taking off the horn makes life easier if you r leaving the bumper on the car to do the job.

yep! i've done it! heres mine...

If your front is just standard, then yes its a straight swap! however, if you have a irmscher front, this grill isnt designed to fit with this, so it needs cutting down near the bottom.

git - they've only just released this grill on the SRi's so maybe he has a older C 1.4?

Sweeet

What about on the DTi tho ? I want that, but the intercooler is right behind it at the bottom, will that make it harder to fit ?

^ I shouldn’t think so. How close is it to your grill now? The new one isn’t that much different. It still sits flush behind the bumper.

SLSXi - I see your paintwork looks in very good condition .

Mines same colour , and when the sun shines on it, all you can see is really light swirly marks all over the surface from washing.

I've had it 5 months now, but I havent polished/waxed it.

Do you polish/wax yours ?

Cheers

& sorry to go off the subject CorSRi_BT

hey, yeh same here, i've got all the swirl marks and scratches too. i've had mine for around 15 months now. I dont wax it that often, only when i can.

I've tried Auto glym super resin polish on mine, and i wouldnt use it again! It doesnt work well at all on the black paint - much too abrasive and takes ages putting it on and gettin it off. turtle wax and wonder wax are much better.

Cheers Danny

So I've come to the conclusion that I need

"Scratch X; The fine scratch & swirl remover"

and "Gold Class Clear Coat Car Wax; The most reflective wax in our history"

Is that right ?

Like Si says, where can you buy it !

I see that you can buy it directly from Meguiars Online, but does anywhere sell it off the shelf ?

Ah! - There's a stockist locator on the site. Closest one to me though is like 60 miles away

Got my Cross-Hatch front SRi grill now, well got it last week.

Anyone know of anywhere that sells the Torx style (star) screw driver heads??
I have been to halfords but dont wanna spend like £50 on a full box of tools!!

Coz I need one to get the screws out of the bumper to get the new Grill into the bumper!!

It isn't really that hard to fit, just took me a while to figure out how I was gonna get the old grill out! Bent the old one a bit getting it out. If ya get the front bumper off it would only take a few mins to fit its that easy. But I didnt take bumper off so was a bit tight for space for me to get me screw driver behind bumper to get fogs out!
