I was in the middle of running something on Excel and my PC just decides to reboot itself! WTF?!

Wish they didn't use Win2k at work, it's so shit!

used to have XP on my laptop, then put 2k on it, much better

now considering nix, but unsure as to what distro to use

XP pro I got, got no problems with it at all, loads better than Win2K that I had on before. Faster and looks loads better!
