My m8 used to have one that was runnin about 350bhp & he managed to chew the gear box once or twice

i dont know alot bout these cars,

but ive been told to look out for dodgy brakes, electrics, dodgy turbos on earlier models,

test drove apulsar at the weekend

standard brakes r shit, and clutches and gearboxes can struggle to cope with more than standard power, and like Demo said, changing the clutch is an expensive job, but other than that the engine is strong, and they're fast as fook!
