Loved the UK stuff, but since it's been US based, I've found it less interesting and Mike can be somewhat annoying!

Anyway, the tall man has left! Be interesting to see what he does next. Would be good to see him on Fast n Loud!

Apparently Ant Anstead is his replacement.

Stands to reason really, the US stuff isn't really interested in tech and as an actual mechanic that's going to be where he wants to be.

Be interesting if Discovery / UK Play / Quest / whoever runs the UK end decided to make a new show which was about fixing up tired stuff but they were a bit more honest about the money side. Be better saying we've bought this, fixed it by doing this, this, this, it stands us this and if we were to sell we'd probably get this but oh well we learnt a bit and had some fun.

Think there's room for all of it, there are enough hours and enough channels to have a few motoring programs without the overlap.

Should never have changed it.

Everyday cars for everyday people, is when I found it most interesting.
Just turned into every other show out there, lost its niche

Agree that the US move was bad for the show. When I spent some time in the US i got to know a few petrol heads who LOVED the show, WD was always popular in the US so Discovery/Velocity moved on that.

The problem is, the US viewers loved it because it was a quirky low budget UK show that worked on cars that they often had never heard of. There are 101 shows showing hotrod conversions or 60s muscle cars being restored... WD didn't need to be another one.

Will follow Edd's progress closely!
