I'm not a tequila drinker, can't stand the stuff personally, so can anyone recommend any decent brands that'd be worthy as a 'stocking' filler? Patron or Herradura any good?

Gas monkey tequila would be pretty cool to receive as a gift.

If you're drinking to the point you're having tequila, I couldn't give a shit about tiny differences.

Anything will do

Same here, usually. Though I was served a glass of Sierra Milenario Tequila Extra Aņejo in a bar in Hamburg and it is lovely stuff. Much smoother than what I've had before.

For a newbie it's got to be golden tequila.

I have a buddy who's really into tequila and mezcal and he always seems to have a bottle of Patron on the shelf, though it never did much for me.
