talk to me, safe? Worth taking a look? I see they have an app for iPad. I'm intrigued just to see what it's all about.

Yeah mate,

no problems. Its very safe, also to use as a standard browser.

theres nothing wrong with looking around, but be careful what you click on!

once you get on, try hidden wiki to have a look around: http://uhwikih256ynt57t.onion/wiki/index.php/Main_Page

warning - crazy shit inside.

I read reviews of people saying good and bad about it, I take it by being careful you mean you may see something you don't want to see

Alot of links are dead, and its no where near as busy as it used to be. Other problem is alot of sites can only be accessed by invitation only, or if you are part of a group. But theres alot of really interesting stuff still, Hidden wiki will guide you.

And by be careful I mean there are deep dark corners where naughty people do there business, so make sure you know what the link you are clicking is going to. shouldn't be a problem, common sense prevails.

Stay away from hacking groups and porn and your all good.

Not sure where the term 'deep web' comes from :confussed: All it is, is an anonymiser!

Fancy term for .Tor onion links.

Probably the fact you cant get to them via a conventional browser, and are somewhat hidden. Although I agree I don't go around calling the normal web the 'surface web'

It does categorise the type of stuff you're going to need an anonmiser for though. There is a distinction between that and what you'd normally browse for fun.

Not necessarily. Using Tor doesn't instantly mean you're buying guns, looking at CP or attempting to hire a hitman; infact, you could do all those quite easily on the open-web/clearnet. You could just be using it to get around a websites' restriction, like Autosports website free view limit

I've had a look but can't find why you would need it unless you were trying to find, buy and do something illegal haha

It's slow as shit.

Took me about half an hour to find a place that would deliver weed to my house (didn't take the offer up lol)
