Wondering if someone here could help me forgive out the name of an artist.

I came across him on spotify a few months back. He was English and pretty sure his songs were more like poems. Spoke them morn than sang them. Could really here is English accent. When I first came across it I had heard his name before so I'm sure he is probably pretty well know.

Pretty vague I know but if anyone could at least start pointing me in the right direction. Lol
