Where abouts in the south east are you? I work for a local council and we would do that as an abandoned vehicle and have it removed.

Newer caravans have chips like a pet dog/cat has so owners can be traced as they're so easy to steal.

I suspect this doesn't though. Police might be interested as opposed to Council/Highways.

Won't it have a vin plate or similar, I'm sure trailers are meant to have an ID plate on.

It will be in the windows as well as on several other parts of the caravan too. With the idea it makes changing the vin harder

They're a pain in the ass to get rid of, just loads of polystyrene and plastic. Shell normally aluminium but glued to the insulation.

Might have a battery and/or charger on it, that's worth having. But not much else. Those lights are common to a lot of them so they're worth it for spares.

Depends how involved you want to get in taking ownership.
