Travelling back from PVS on motorway in 5th. Got off the motorway went into 4th and then couldn't get back into 5th.

Wasn't booting it or anything like that so drove home in 4th

I thought it would be just the selector needing adjusting but ive tried that and cant get into 5th. Also dis connected the linkage to see if I could get 5th by hand but it wont go in either.

Any ideas or is my gearbox actually broke?

I didnt have 5th for ages in mine n that turned out to be the pin in one of the UJs was worn
