personally dont believe it for a second. the amount suarez agitated for a move (double page spreads in 2 papers saying i want to leave) does not tally with not having lawyers review it thoroughly. maybe he had a £40m BOC but with further clauses ie no prem to prem move but dont believe for a second that he had a straight £40m BOC otherwise he would be playign for us by now

I agree, but that has nothing to do with this though. They shouldn't have put a clause in if they had no desire to accept an offer for that amount.

Never thought clubs had to sell the players even if they did arrange a buyout clause. Just means that have to consider and let the player know.
