Ok, downloaded the above to do some quick attempts at changing wheel colour for future refurb.

Only problem im having is i have no idea how to change the colour.

When i go to blending options > colour overlay, all i can get is red.

How the hell do you change it?? Watching a tutorial on youtube, the colour box on CS5 is beside the "blend mode" box, but its not like that on CS2....

What do i go to or do to play about with the colours....

So I need to untick the color overlay box? Then what after that?

No, click next to the tick on the text itself.

You then get the colour overlay option window, where you can change the colour.

Either you're doing it wrong, the document's broken or your PS installation is broken.

Maybe try jumping directly to the colour overlay options through the top menu.
Layer > Layer Style > Colour Overlay...

Or just go a completely different direction.

With your selection active press this button:

And choose Solid Colour.

Then just change the blending options (where it says "Normal" above the layers) to Colour.

Double click the new layer to change colour.

This one seems to work when doing a quick over-lay on a selected area, so will try it just now once ive cut out all the background stuff.

Cheers.
