With my house being a Victorian terrace it means the kitchen and bathroom are extensions that have been built on to the back of the property. I'm trying to keep everything traditional - Restore the bedroom fireplaces, wood floors, torus skirting and the correct staining etc.
My extension is one of the narrowest I have come across and my bathroom measures 1.7m wide and probably the same in length! Currently it contains a cast iron bath and Victorian style sink and toilet. I am going to try and keep the cast bath, that is an ongoing debate with my dad at the moment!
Ideally I want 100mm x 100mm on the floor in black but all I can find is 300mm.
So a few options I have is as follows -
400mm x 100mm -
300mm x 300mm -
Victorian Mosaic - 50mm x 50mm on 400mm x 400mm tile -
Or do a combination of the three and have a border and mosaic.
Has anyone come across any black bathroom floor tiles which come in at under £50 per meter square?

I put 450x300 (I think) in a similar size bathroom . Looked well. High gloss black . I'll take pic tomorrow and upload

Will be taking it through from kitchen, back door hallway and in to bathroom, so the larger tiles may not look too out of place. It was the fact its going to have 100x100 on the wall and 300x300 on the floor so might look a bit odd?

Not really. I personally prefer oblong tiles rather than square especially on the floor . Only square I think look good are the 600x600

Just re read I thought you meant just bathroom not a full floor. I wouldn't be tiling anything other than bathroom and kitchen .
