Hi guys,

Could someone please photoshop the sides of the bonnet body colour? Just between the outer edge and the crease down the bonnet (which runs to the back corners) on each side leaving the centre carbon

Thanks

Teach me colour overlay that still allows all the shades/reflections/shadows through

Fill a layer with your target colour and set the blend mode to "color".

Then mask the layer to the areas you want affected.

In most cases you'll also need to bring in a "curves" adjustment layer (using same mask as your colour layer) to adjust the contrast.

In the end, use hue/saturation on the colour layer to fine tune.

In some cases you'll want some coloured reflections, like sky and grass, in which case you draw it with a soft brush, low opacity on a new layer set to blend mode "color".
