got an iphone 3g

deleted facebook app because every time I opened it, it shut straight away, now it says i need ios 4.3 or something, how do I do that?

I know the 3gs updates to 6 no problem, unsure about the 3g

I had the same problem with my mums iPhone 3G with apps not working, plug it in to I tunes but make sure it's backed up before because I lost some of my mums stuff on her phone, it will update to 4.something

Officially 4.2.1 on a 3G.

Unofficially there is Whitedoor which is a modded version of iOS 5 for 3G/2G iPhones.
