Not tried this, but I'm curious as to the benefit of it.

Bigger spread on the Insignia jets?

Yeah its well worth doing, the jets cost no more than 5 quid and give a much better coverage than the standard ones.

As for fitting them, just use 2 of the middle jet (with the T piece) and block the side you don't use.

Insignia ones give a mist rather than a pair of jets, million times better

In what way don't they fit?? You will also need to adjust the spray nozzle so that it sprays on the screen.

And as neil says, you will need 2 double ended nozzles (insignia passenger side) and melt 1 side closed.

I just fitted a set of these to my Astra Coupe yesterday. Well worth the £4.44 and straight fit on the Astra's.

My local stealers wanted £3.83 EACH. Prices must vary as folk on AOC were saying the prices were all different from different dealers.

So ordered them from here.....
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Vauxhall-Insignia-washer-jets-/280914326654?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4167cc747e#ht_500wt_934

2nd class postage and they were here the next day, with an invoice from Chippenham Vauxhall and in genuine parts packets.

508 isn't a choice of number. Only 507 or 509 are mentioned above ^^
