 | Mates come out of hospital on 24hr release and he wanted to go to the cinema to see inbetweeners, now he has just had his large intestine removed and has tubes comin out of his body here there and everywhere, he cant walk too well so i parked in the farthest disabled parking bay there was. (i didnt have a disabled ticket or anything and i was in the zafira not the vx)

i totally expected to see a fine there really, but its not a council, police or hospital one so what will happen if i just ignore it?

would it be worth writing in and seeing what they say if i explain the situation or should i just ignore it?

 | If you dont have a disabled badge then you're going to get a ticket.. However as tom says if its a private company you can ignore it but they "may" take out a CCJ against you.

To be honest you shouldn't have parked in it.

 | My grandad got a fine for parking in a disabled spot once, not because he didn't have a blue badge, but because he had displayed his blue badge upside down! Tossers.

 | The general information is that unless its Council or Police issued, ignore it. As in, don't even write back to challenge it.
