 | As some of you may remember I had a little setback with getting my Roadster MOT'd and back on the road thanks to some thieving scumbag!

Anyway, yesterday was a great day and she finally made it back onto the road

She had been looking very unloved and in such an embarrassing state after being stood for 9 months

After the wheels came back from the refurbishers (the right colour this time!) I got her down to the MOT station yesterday morning.

She flew through with an advisory on a bulb and some front pads starting to get low....Then came the cleaning session!

9 months worth of grime to fight

After the first wash, she was still looking very dull and oxidisation was heavy

I clayed the whole car, this is the grime that came of a small section of the bonnet

Yuck! After I clayed it, I washed her again, then applied the good old Meguires three stage to her. I dressed the plastics and bullshitted up the tyres and she was restored to her former glory. This could only mean it was time for some pics

Unfortunately when I got to the location I realised my flashgun was very low on battery so I couldn't get too many photos but here are a few.

 | Cheers guys
I still need to stick the centrecaps back on the wheels and I've got some OEM splitters to install front and rear when I get chance. Should help make it look even less feminine then |

They are the same wheels that were on it before Rich, they are Ronal LS but I had them resprayed and polished up the lip. I still need to stick the centrebadges back on though.

Alex, its all running as if its stock. I've had no teething problems or anything which im suprised about! I'm home over bankholiday so pop on up. I might sort out a bbq at mine over the weekend so ill let you know and feel free to come along

 | They are Ronal LS wheels but have always been badged as BBS while I've had them as the Ronal badges look shite.

Ive only got a crappy phone pic taken when it was first installed.
