Basically i just want to know on average how much would it cost to have my timing belt done at a garage?
 For a 1997 Corsa B 1.2 LS 5 door

 | All garages are different and cost different amounts, I'd say no more than a couple of hundred at the max. Get some quotes from garages.

 | as its an 8v it is pretty easy to do, it all depends how comfortable you are doing it.
If you struggle to change a wheel then I wouldn't attempt it but if you can service it yourself etc it isn't much harder.

 | Where I work were £80per hour +vat. I'd recommend having the water pump is done at the same time. I thing it takes abt 1.5 hrs to do the job
