The Summer Action Day at Combe? Weekend after Trax?

I'd be all over that if I were you. We'll have a dedicated WR session there so it'll all be people there with WR and track etiquette is usually amongst the best. Castle Combe's a pretty simple circuit too so it can be learned easily giving you more time to actually get used to driving on track without constantly trying to remember where you're going next.

I'm serous about the 1.2 thing as well. I spent 2 years doing trackdays in a 1.2 and it really teaches you how to drive fast, keep momentum etc. because you can't use power to get passed other cars, so you've got to drive it right, plus there's nothing quite as motivating as driving out of the pits and have everyone start getting off on you and you know if you don't give it some welly you're going to be driving around on your own until they all catch up again a few laps later

Oh ok, i've seen the thread but wasn't sure.

I'm sure mine would be pretty good round corners as it's on good coilovers and strutbraces etc.

I'll have a look into it Mike and let you know.

I'm not even on coilovers yet, although they're hopefully my next big purchase so I can stop going around corners on my door handles

was gonna say Dan, have seen the pics of Mike going round on track

he doesnt have coilovers and was on 3 wheels so much we may aswell have called him "tripod" on the outing last week lol
