Another bit of the agreement for nokia was they'll now get 8euros from every iPhone sold, and looks like they may now post a profit for the last quarter instead of a massive loss!

The hardware isn't actually that great compared to what other handset manufacturers are knocking out. I'd say it's iOS that really makes the iPhone.

* it isn't, it's still Android

That's the A5 processor which is rumoured to be in the 4GS. It's only clocked at 1GHz in the iPad though.

Yes. The N8. It's shite. More and more unresponsive the more you put on it

Apps are slowly starting to creep through though. Some features are handy such as HDMI out. Download a vid from YouTube then watch on the big screen.

Is it really that bad? Hopefully the 'Anna' update will bring a load of fixes to the N8. Have you tried any of the custom firmwares, H20 etc, yet Deano?
Was playing with one of these last week, still impressed by some of the features; just a shame about the OS otherwise i'd get one

It isn't terrible. But could certainly be better. It is just quite laggy and unresponsive - that's my biggest bug bare.

Haven't tried anything out, might check them out.

What's this 'Anna' update you speak of?

My N97 mini still isn't TOO bad. Slow, but I can do all I need on it, just a shame that Ovi store didn't take off, I took the risk when I bought it, hoping it would, but it's shit really.

Phone itself is fairly good

'Anna' is an update they're rolling out to a number of the their S^3 handsets which will include updates to the browser, music app + (it's rumoured) a load of fixes when it comes to the N8. Apparently it was suppose to be out last april/may but it's been delayed. Also rumours that S^4 might support the N8, nothing offical though.

I'll keep an eye out fr Anna. The only recent update is the Ovi Stre and its facility for app Updates.
