2002 Astra 1.7DTi

I've replaced the all the rear brake lines and the two brake lines from where it joins under at the front, back to the rear compensator.

I've no leaks, the lines are all clear and fluid flows to the compensator. It will NOT flow from the compensator, to the rear brakes? Pedal just goes rock hard and I have no rear braking.

What am I doing wrong?

Brakes were fine before just corroded pipes which failed MOT.

Compensator fucked, valve inside stuck or something?

Help much appreciated as it's my mothers car and i don't want her driving my Alfa as she's already fucked my sisters Mini Cooper Alloy

If you`ve got the car on axle stands why`ll your doing the brakes ? the compensator won`t be letting fluid through, put the car on the ground, and try again

Sorted.

Scrappy for another compensator then had to re-flare a pipe whilst under the car and have brake fluid burn on my back but never mind.

Mother is happy!
