Just cos you work for Classic and Sports car magazine, doesnt mean you have to be a purist on any cars older than 20years..
People can customise cars if they want and i (IMO) think the silver P1800 looks pretty good.

I don't mind modifications as long as they are period. Its my preference, not anything to do with my job. When did I say people should be beheaded for modifying their cars how they want

my grandard owned a p1800 a couple years back saw one last week driving about, lovely looking cars.

he currently wants a jensen interceptor to go with his 60's humber, camper van and morris minor.
