Hi,

If you have an audi, you will notice that on the service stamps in your service booklet, will be a 3-number code in the corner, such as "641" which indicated which dealership this is.

Each dealership has its own specific number.

I have been lookin at an advert for a car, and it states :

02.08.05 - 11717 miles - Audi dealer 641





does anyone know how i can find out which dealership 641 is ???

Ive googled and cant find anything to help me.

aye i might have to. just wondered if anyone knew of a site or anything - would be good to know rather than having to be placed on hold for 20 mins.

surely there must be something out there.

Went to Audi web site, located a centre at a random postcode.

Ended up looking at Stansted Audi.

Went to the dealer page, noted that there was an id number on the 'Book a test drive' link.

Followed the link, noted that Stansted Audi was in the drop down list at the bottom of the page.

Looked at the source of that page and got the list of codes and dealer name -

<option value=' 546'>Southend Audi</option>
<option value=' 779'>Stafford Audi</option>
<option value=' 196' selected>Stansted Audi</option>
<option value=' 047'>Stirling Audi</option>
<option value=' 654'>Stockport Audi</option>
<option value=' 778'>Stoke Audi</option>
<option value=' 583'>Stratford Audi</option>
<option value=' 487'>Swansea Audi</option>

Had a little poke about with the numbers, ran this search -

Followed the 'Audi dealer codes' link.

641 appears as Pentraeth both lists.

Might tell that guy his list is out of date though, dealer one has more entries.
