CTR.

But at the end of the day patrick.... its only going to be a family genre of car without silly size wheels and exhaust's. Attention will be gained.

Get a CTR... leave it standard, just work on the engine

And gutless as fcuk. There's a 1600 Civic featured in this month's CCC, with a £5000 supercharger conversion running 0.8bar boost. It still only makes 142ft/lb of torque

CCC - cars and car conversions. Easily the best mag of the bunch for info on engine tuning and set up and handling - in fact info on any mods that help make a car go faster...

Yes - most newsagents will have it. They do modified car reviews, but they also do more technical articles do. TBH, I found some of it a bit hard going at first, but you do learn a hell of a lot.
