not an SLR
But I had the Optio S, and the Optio T70, both good cameras for the couple of years I had them.
Bought myself a DSLR in the end though because the T70 wasn't focusing quick enough for my liking and annoyed me.

Was an amazing camera, fitted inside a fag packet  They were the first to use the sliding lens technology as well, (I believe) which most manufacturers now use
In conclusion, I really like Pentax stuff, as far as I know it's what they specialise in, pentax make optical stuff, so they should be pretty good really!
