i read the description and they all sound ideal to me, that £80 package sounds perfect for me, but so does the £300 for speakers and amp. I could afford to get either with my budget, but seems mad to pay £300 instead of £80.

Yeah i got 800 voucher so got the tv blu ray and 3 sets glasess with 5 year warrenty for about £450

if you just want a bit fun get the £80 setup and then if you find you use it alot and want more then invest in more kit, you might find your happy with that little setup

I heard that years ago at a What HiFi exhibition. was amazing i do love my sub tho my coving fell down in my kitchen due to the vibrations lol

The original 753's were pretty special; certainly i preferred them over the revised freedom versions. I remember my mates old man getting a pair when they came out and bi-amp'd them a few years later (originally ran them using a Cyrus pre, Arcam power-amp setup) with pair of Cyrus aPA7.5's (iirc) power-amps - sounded stupidly good
Apparently the tweeter mod, removing the mesh from the tweeter, improves then top end a lot in the originals.

Those were the days when Mission made decent speakers though. Have a pair of 760's and a pair of 760i's, still sound good today
