Aint i a smarty??

Had to take pipes off here there n everywhere to get to my inlet manifold where my ECU is situated, then ran a wire from there to my rev counter. Well proud!! Oh, and the monkeys at vauxhall wanted £139+VAT to do the job.

na na na na na na na!!

There ISNT a wire already in the loom. Not all corsas came with this wire fed through the car.

And NO, believe me my ECU isnt in the kickpanel.
For some unknown reason, vauxhall decided to have some models with ECU's in the kickpanel (most of em), however mines wasnt. Also, on a 1.0 12V engine, there is an ECU bolted on to the inlet manifold. And to make things more confusig, some corsas also came with an ECU or whatever in the kick panel ASWELL! Coocoo if you ask me. The ECU found on the inlet manifold is much harder to wire up to than the kick panel equivalent. Believe me, been there, done that, and bought the fcukn t-shirt!

What do you mean you dont know where yours is DJ_Voodoo??? Are you talking about the ECU??? If so, check the pnale as you said. If it aint there then check the other kick panel on the other side of the car. If it still aint showing, check your inlet manifold. Your car isnt an ecotec engine is it???

wahoo! Dizzy cap! I remember taking mine off my old 1.2, there were no metal contacts left inside, hence the reason why it didnt drive very well.
