A lot of cars nowadays don't need a rolling road to determine the bhp. All you do is add up the manufacturers claims of the products you've bought and then take off 5bhp to make it "realistic".

That's the "guaranteed to be accurate" some of the mags use and if it's good enough for SSC...

GT1 running a recommended 1.2bar, you can run upto 1.35bar in short burts.
Use a bleed valve or other boost control device (NOT the original pierburg valve, this needs to be disconnected),
Direct airfilter (induction kit),
Free flowing exhaust (magnex, scorpion, peco, Janspeed, Powerflow etc)
Catalyst or no catalyst (Scorpion Decat pipe).
This will return in the region of 160-165hp on a standard car (~170hp @ 1.35bar).
7300rpm limiter and 3bar boost cuts.
Mapped for power.

about 165 probably. I think the mapping on your car is shite andy. the SEB chips are ok but nothing special

yes bithcing alot. actually it's probably around 160-165hp more than anything. peak torque will be higher with 1.35 bar than with 1.2 bar.

No what I find amusing is this guy has an air filter, dump valve, zorst, bleed valve & apparently has 170 bhp.
I have the following yet only have 173.5 bhp... go figure......
1.4 8v Turbo, K&N 57i induction kit, Hybrid turbo, uprated actuator, FSE boost valve, bleed valve ( set to 19 PSI), Magnecor leads, PACE large front mounted intercooler, Mocal oil cooler radiator, Bailey DV26, POTR SEB IV Eprom chip ( mapped for specific mods), uprated fuel pump for Integrale Evo II, Bailey alloy header tank, chrome battery cover, SFS yellow hosing, various yellow vacuum hosing, 2 1/2" straight through exhaust system with slash cut centre exit Boxer style tailpipe

I recon you could get more though. is SEB0 at 1.35 can give 170hp then WTF is wrong with your car to only get 173.5 with more boost higher up the rev range

Unfortunately what you fail to see is GT1/2 running 1.35 really go get upto 170. Mark's car is rapid with same mods. Std his was 138hp with 176 torque. Sebbed it was shit loads faster doing 0-100 in 17-18s. GT3's are never tuned in Italy because its harder to get more power. For andy to get into 185-90 he NEEDS to get a fast road cam, beyond there he needs to drop the compression to run 1.5bar ~200hp.
