Do a Google search for "GPS Underground".

It's not that hard to update the maps yourself

It's hard to get up-to-date tomtom maps now, it's not hard to put them on though.

GPS Underground or ipmart will have the latest maps, usually within a week of release, if not sooner.

They are also piss easy to activate.

Look on gpsunderground for FastActivate, that will patch your navigator and map so it will all work, simple, easy, not hastle at all.

Looked like there was a massive crackdown on it last time I checked.

IP Mart forum always seems to have up to date maps. I've always found it easy to do via their forum.

I'll give this GPS underground a go. I've never even plugged my tomtom in so no idea what I'm doing but can't be that hard!

I have tomtom on my iPhone but it uses loads of battery.

This GPS Underground makes no sense to me. Too many letters and numbers and downloading is complicated. I downloaded TomTom home and it says I only have 278mb free too, I'm guessing I need to buy a 4gb card or something if I want extra maps?
