I wanted to buy it but the fact the advert doesnt even use game footage puts me off a little as to how confident they are with it. Ive never really been a fan of the Halo games either

Same as the other games. Dissapointed by the length of the solo campaign I remember playing Halo 1 solid for days before getting to the end.

Reach is fantastic! Its what Halo 3 should have been (despite being a prequel)  Everything is solid and intense. ODST is the only game I haven't played, because it sounded shit.

Got it and loving it so far, although I'm playing in easy mode so far due to my shittness. WTF is the armour power up thing? Rest are pretty obvious but this just punches the ground.

simple enough mate, if your getting battered .. and your about to die.. you use the ability, so your invincible for a few seconds when your punching the ground.. so gives you enough time for actual shield to recharge, so when you come out of it, your good to go

yeah jetpack is a great laugh ... jetpack beatdowns are fab
i havent really touched the campaign yet.. just been playng it online.. if you play it online you can try all the abilities out without unlocking anything..

Have to say, I'm massively disappointed. It's OK online, that's the very best I'll say about it. The party modes are fucking shit too. So complicated. I'll be trading it in shortly, not impressed at all.
