Had to buy a new battery for my phone nokia 5800, Anyway bought one but when i put it in phone its not coming on and when i put it on charge screens lighting up then going off again, Do u after charge it while the phone is turned off for a certain amount of time..? or isit new battery is knackerd.

What was the problem with the original battery?

Id charge it up full over night then within a couple of hour id go to make a phone call and it would flash up low battery then it would just turn off, Then if id turn it back on it would be full then it would do same again after abit etc.. The phone is not turning on at all with this new battery in so ant a clue whats up with it..

Have you done a factory reset just incase something has got itself mixed up?

Tbh Gunny, I have no idea if it even has a factory reset? Is it an ancient model? It will say in your handbook though, or Google will know
