Mate had one, squeeked like fuck, had to change the axel, gearbox crunched when you drove fast, top mounts, joints and bushes all seemed to be weak. Apart from that it was very nippy and it handled really good.

Good cars as standard, handle and perform well. You'll see 140bhp with basic breathing mods, add some strut braces and sticky tyres and you're on to a winner. They arent as bad as people make out problem wise, like any other car really.

I have one mate you might have seen it about the town.

Had mine for seven months and have not had any problems with mine at all. I did do all the bushes and stuff on mine but when you lower them you are best to do that.

The axles themselves are not crap. As long as your endplate seals are fine the axle will be. When they do go or the bolt comes out of the endplate and you do not notice it water and crap gets into the beam and wears down the trailing arm bearings.

I have a couple of mods on mine like forced air induction, pugsport exhaust, fast road cam and a re map and i feel its nearly if not fast as my old XE.

If its been well looked after and properly serviced you wil be onto a good one.
