where u from? in bolton there's a place that checks ur car for £35 (i think) then the parts on top of that. He put's it on a computer and finds where the faults are, and then asks u if u want the parts replaced at an additional price.

The temp sensor is bout £20 from vaux
Lambda £90 from vaux or £40 from local motor shop.
Change these take your air filter out for the MOT give it a thrash and if it still fails think about a new cat

if its running that rich, then you would probably be looking at a new cat anyway now, but to make it run as rich as this must be a sensor fautly somewhere. have there not been any ECU warning lights comming up on the dash?

yes light comes on when i give it some boot codes are 22-throttle potentiometer senser low voltage,34-manifold absolute pressure sensor low voltage,44-oxygen sensor air/fuel too weak,47-linear exhaust gas re-circulation position,61-fuel tank vent valve low voltage,63-direct ignition system cylinder 1 and 4 low voltage,64-direct ignition system cylinder 2 and 3 low voltage,84-immobiliser no signal,85-immobiliser wrong signal. but i think these codes are old codes

wow, thats alot of fault codes!!!

its interesting that all your faults are low voltage faults, and not high. Is there an earth strap loose or missing on the engine somewhere?

How olds the car anyway?

could be an ecu fault as it goes

Does really look like it needs a visit to vaux to be honest, doesn't look well.

sorry can't really be of any more help
