I only know him as Pete im afraid, and he lived around Romford
I don't personnally remember this happening, but people said after he left that becoming PC Plod had gone to his head and he'd gone all ego macho (nope, it wasn't me in disguise ).
But personnally, I thought he was ok, just slowed down using the site and dissapeared.
