Do Sony have some kind of deal worked out with Virgin Media?

Every time I open my homepage there's another story about how the PS3 is awesome. Today it's
"How Heavy Rain has changed gaming forever"

the other day it was '10 reasons PS3 owners have to be happy' or some such shit

If your PS3 is crashing and not signing in, is it coming up with a 8001050F error?

Because if it is all the playstation network has gone down and the old 'fat' PS3's are affected,

Type '8001050F' in google and read up on it.

Sony dont know why its happened or how to fix it

my heavy rain wont work, when i load it , it says problem with trophies game will quit.

also has the sign in error, would this be the reason heavy rain wont load

Well my brother bought this and the missus is playing it just now... First thing I see is the hilariously fake accident scene with the lads son. He jumps out and is closer to the car, but his son apparently takes the hit? All that time on graphics but they couldn't sort that out? As said, it's one long cut scene.
